Less than one half guideline sentence on Dallas Federal Mortgage Fraud Case
Client sentenced to less than one half of Federal Sentencing Guideline range applicable to his case.
Client charged in a 19 count indictment for mail and wire fraud in the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division. Client was listed as the number one defendant in a 6 defendant Federal Mortgage Fraud scheme against Countrywide Financial. Client organized and recruited numerous other co-conspirators to defraud Countrywide out of $7,594,555.00. Client faced up to 20 years in the Bureau of Prisons and an adjusted guideline range of 70 to 87 months in the BOP. Mr. Lowe’s work over a three year period resulted in his client receiving only 35 months in the BOP of which he will actually serve less than 24 months.
