Judge Throws Out Field Sobriety Tests; Client Found Not Guilty
Client Found Not Guilty in Dallas After Judge Threw Out Results of Field Sobriety Tests
Mr. Lowe successfully argued to a Dallas County Judge that his client was pyschologically coerced by a Dallas Police Officer to submit to field sobriety tests. In a highly unusual ruling, the Judge found that the Dallas officer had used improper methods to coerce Mr. Lowe’s client into giving field sobriety tests. Because all of the State’s evidence concerning intoxication was barred from being admitted, Mr. Lowe’s client was found Not Guilty.
