This sounds like something that San Jose, California Police Officers: Tom Tortoricci & Gabriel Cuenca Would do! We had an incident with them in 2006 and I was threatened that they would falsely arrest me on trumped up charges if I spoke about it!

There’s a good reason why attorneys from nearby counties who had experienced the “justice” system in Shelby county refer with disgust to their having practiced law in “The Republic of Shelby”. It’s systemic and an accepted part of the culture. Remember, this banana republic is just a county away from where James Byrd was dragged to death not too long ago.

When I read about this miscarriage of justice in our local paper I was so furious I just stomped around the room muttering to myself. I could not believe this could happen–and that the locals could get away with it. I hope they all are found guilty and rot in jail for a very long time.
